Where in the world is this?

Does anybody know where this picture was taken? It looks familiar to me. A chair, fishing pole in the water and a good book to read while waiting for a bite sounds like a good time. We have several new books to check out from the library and several good oldies too! We have increased our large print selection to include christian fiction and western besides good old fiction.
If you are looking for other kinds of entertainment, the library is the place to go. We have a large variety of DVD’s and audiobooks. You can even come play video games on the X-box or on one of our computers. The kids have been enjoying computer use and watching You Tube. Wi-fi access is available as well. Hope to see you soon!

Universal Class offers over 500 online courses in more than 30 areas of study. Take full courses with instructors to earn Continuing Education Units or just audit a class by viewing its videos. Since Universal Class offers everything from Microsoft Excel to parenting skills, you’ll be sure to find something of interest to learn.

XBOX 360

Our Library has an XBOX 360 for you to enjoy and several games to choose from. Tell your kids or make a family event to visit our library and play! Games include Kinect Adventures, Kinect Sports 2, Lego Marvel Super Heroes, Angry Birds Star Wars and NEW TODAY Minecraft.

Did you know there is more to do at the library than checking out books? We have wireless internet, computers, tablets, an x-box 360, games and puzzles. Come hang out with me at the library where it is cool!

New Librarian

Tina Fullhart is the new librarian. She has lived in Grenola for 47 years. If you have a book in mind you want to read stop by and let her help you find it. There are many resources available. Check out the new facebook page Grenola Public Library and like our page. Summer reading will begin June 20-24. Times will be announced at a later date.
